3.2 Free Service

Posting garage sale listings on Area Garage Sales is free. We reserve the right to introduce premium features in the future while maintaining free basic listing functionality.

4. Shoppers

4.1 User Responsibility

When visiting garage sales found through our platform:

• You are responsible for verifying sale information before visiting

• Transactions are solely between you and the garage sale host

• Area Garage Sales is not responsible for item quality, availability, or pricing

• Respect private property and the host's rules

4.2 No Warranty

We do not verify or guarantee the accuracy of garage sale listings. Items sold at garage sales are typically sold "as-is" without warranty. Use your own judgment when making purchases.

5. Sponsors and Advertisers

5.1 Sponsorship Terms

Business sponsors agree to:

• Provide accurate business information

• Submit appropriate promotional content

• Comply with all advertising laws and regulations

• Not submit misleading or deceptive advertising

5.2 Content Review

Area Garage Sales reserves the right to:

• Review and approve sponsored content before publication

• Remove any content that violates these Terms

• Refuse sponsorship from any business at our discretion

5.3 Fees and Refunds

Sponsorship pricing is available on our Sponsorship page. Payments are processed through PayPal. Refunds are provided at our discretion and according to our refund policy.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

6.1 Platform Ownership

Area Garage Sales and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Area Garage Sales and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

6.2 User Content License

By posting content (garage sale listings, images, descriptions), you grant Area Garage Sales:

• A worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content

• The right to format and display content within the Service

• Permission to use content for promotional and operational purposes

You retain all ownership rights to your content. Listings are automatically removed after your sale ends.

7. Disclaimers and Limitations

7.1 No Responsibility for Transactions

Area Garage Sales is a listing platform only. We do not:

• Participate in transactions between buyers and sellers

• Verify the quality or authenticity of items for sale

• Guarantee that sales will take place as listed

• Provide refunds or mediate disputes between users

7.2 Service "As Is"

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose

• Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of content
